"Spider's Web"
realization: Bremen, 1993, International Artists' Workshop "Lichthaus - Aussenraum - Kunstraum"

The project referred to an area of an abandoned shipyard AG Weser, during the 2nd World War producing U-boats, after the war - inactive, isolated from the rest of the city. An aim of the workshop was a trial of including the area of the shipyard to a live tissue of the city.
My action depended on painting a symbol of a spider on walls of buildings, pavements etc. Next I composed a drawing of bricks, representing a spider's web, binding points of a chosen place of the shipyard. In a center of the web, I dug a well, on a bottom of which, under water I placed an aerial photo of the area.
